Our Mission

Our mission is to foster a love for the game of baseball while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in a positive and inclusive environment. We strive to develop young athletes by teaching fundamental skills, discipline, and respect for the game, their teammates, and the community. Through competitive opportunities, we aim to build character, encourage lifelong friendships, and instill a passion for baseball that lasts beyond the field.

Tryouts for Minors, Juniors & Seniors will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Tryouts for Minors, Juniors & Seniors will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The evaluation times are as follows:

Senior Level - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Junior Level - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Minor Level - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

*Please arrive 45 minutes early to check in*

These will be the only dates and times with no makeup dates available. If you are unable to make this, please contact Ryan Oliver at Ryan@oliverins.net.

Please bring a bat, helmet, gloves, and dress appropriately for the weather.  Please wear tennis shoes (no metal cleats) and no sunflower seeds are allowed. If you didn’t pay online, please bring check to evaluation day.

Evaluation Stations:

    1    Infield mechanics

    2    Hitting mechanics

    3    Pitching fundamentals

    4    Outfield mechanics

    5    Base Running-coachability skills

*Immediately after the evaluations, anyone that is wanting to be a catcher will have a short (10 minutes) separate evaluation that will not be scored as part of the primary evaluation.

Please note that no refunds will be given after tryouts.

Additional Registration Check-In Information:

Registration check-in for players will be at the Varsity Baseball Field Clubhouse located inside the gate on your way to the football field at the Corner of 10th and Douglas off Elm Street. We recommend parking in the main Gym/Tennis/Football parking lot at the High School and then walking over to the baseball field clubhouse.  Please show up a little early to check-in (45 minutes prior to evaluation time) to be fitted for a jersey and hat.

*Please have your player come prepared to provide a number for their jersey.  They will provide us with three numbers of their choice.

Parents, be respectful of all players and allow them to get a complete evaluation. We ask that you stand on the track by the Football scoreboard area or in the main stadium bleachers. Parents will be moved if they are sitting in the visiting side bleachers or standing on the track near evaluation area. Please DO NOT go down to the hitting facility as it’s already tight quarters and we want to make sure this area is for the kids. This is done to ensure safety for all around the field.  Independent evaluators will be assigned by station. Board members will be out verifying and monitoring the process.

Team placements will begin after tryouts have been completed and the Coach will be notifying the players as soon as teams have been finalized, so please be patient.

We look forward to seeing you there.
